A year forward and a long delayed status update
First off, if you are seeing this, welcome and sorry for such a delayed response on an update. I'm not going to get into how much 2020 was an emotional year as I'm sure you are all aware.
I just wanted to say that I am sorry for not posting an update sooner (as in maybe once every month or two). Life was pretty intense, I got a new job, picked up a few new habits, and just tried to get myself emotionally through last year which really cut into how much development progress was made. What progress was made seemed to be a little uninteresting on the surface (such as writing networking code, fixing bugs, etc) but I did make some cool features/tools for the game. Notably content packs, modding work, some tools for editing game content and more! I'm going to spread these out into their own dedicated posts talking more about those features, some of the ideas I've been working with or the actual content of the game, and some thoughts going forward. Though I'm sure it'll be a while before I can really pick this up full steam, I am hopeful that this project will eventually be finished. For now, give me maybe a week to prepare the next post, and hopefully one day we can look back at these old posts to see how much has improved.
