Curator
A downloadable game
Curator is a game about running a museum where you have to start from scratch and re-arrange artifacts in whatever way your heart desires. Collect different artifacts such as...
(Coming Eventually...)
-Fish
-Minerals and Gems
-Art
-Fossils
-Bugs
-Flora
-And lots more with modding!
Curator is my ever ambitious project as an indie game developer to take a single game design aspect such as the museum features from popular games such as Animal Crossing and Stardew Valley and make that the focus of the game. Aimed to be a game with more creative elements and a little bit of story and RPG elements thrown in, Curator aims to simply be a relaxing time where you get to show off your creativity as well as enjoy the world that it is set in.
Planned Features:
-Running a museum
-Having visitors, displaying artifacts, etc
-Multiplayer (both Co-Op and competitive)
-Modding (To be able to add in different types of items/museums/NPCs etc)
-Combat? (For those who like a bit more adventure)
-Magic! (You could have a museum on magic you know)
-Archaeology (Dig up artifacts from the old world as well as minerals and gems)
-Different campaigns (Or at least a single story as well as a free-for-all mode)
-Fishing (Because aquariums are a type of museum too!)
And much, much more!
Please note that while Curator is in development/an early prototype phase the code for the game is hosted on a private Github repository just to ensure I can protect my game's assets/code and figure out a proper license for it/determine if I would eventually sell it one day or even just release it for free. If you would like a copy of the source code for official reasons please contact me so that I can sort this out with you. Thank you!
